Parents - Educate your Children - Please Read!

Our governor, "Gov. Bobby Jindal, Lousiana, has enacted an emergency rule to outlaw the sale and possession of drugs known as fake bath salts, which can be snorted, smoked or injected to get high."
Dr. Julie Lawrence Sanders, that was interviewed in this article, is a very close friend of ours. Julie and my daughter used to be roommates, and she is like my own daughter. Julie lost her step-son in November because of these drugs.
You need to read the article for all of the details. My heart aches for them. At the time they didn't know about the effects or the use of the bath salts. They have taken a stand in our state to help get people educated about the problems these cause.

Please pass this information on through your blogs. You may be saving someone's life.

They would also appreciate your prayers. This has been a heartbreaking reality for them.

Love to all,
Shirley

OH MY GOODNESS SHIRLEY,
THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW THAT THE devil himself...produces to try and steal, kill, and destroy, our children and family.
I WAS NOT EVEN FAMILIAR WITH THIS DRUG. I USE TO BE ON TOP OF EVERY DRUG THERE WAS WHEN MY TWO CHILDREN WERE HOME AND THEN WHEN AMY WAS IN COLLEGE AND THEN WHEN RICHIE WENT TO COLLEGE. IT JUST KEEPS AFFECTING EVERY GENERATION.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION.
I SURE AM IMPRESSED WITH GOV. BOBBY JINDELL....I THINK HE WILL RUN FOR PRESIDENT ONE DAY WHETHER HE ADMITS IT OR NOT.
MY PRAYERS, TEARS, AND DEEP SORROW ARE WITH EACH ONE OF THESE FAMILIES.
HAVE A SUGAR SWEET DAY
LOVE

How do kids find out about this stuff? It is so scary. Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my daughters.

this was on the news tonight, I had never seen this before. One of the teens that had been using it was telling how bad she hallucinated with it. Why on earth would anyone put themselves through that hell. She also said the drug can cause suicidal thoughts and some of her friends and lost their lives here. The other week it was on the news about artificial marijuana.

Its like nothing will stop folks from taking drugs.
